Once spikes are loosened it is difficult to reinstall the spike because the hole in the fascia will be larger than the spike.

During installation spike may dent the face of the gutter

Helpful hints:

Hangers should be about 32" on center (apart).

There should be 3 screws in between hangers.

5" gutter should use #8 stainless steel screws.

6" gutter should use #10 stainless steel screws.

Make sure your screws are stainless steel because galvanize screws will rust thru your gutter.
